Casa Jasmine, La Alfoquia
![]() Phil and Nora Stephenson welcome you to Casa Jasmine, a friendly, family run business based in the Spanish village of La Alfoquia. Our bed and breakfast is a well established and well facilitated home from home, in this lovely Spanish village. Our fully air conditioned and central heated establishment boasts an array of services designed to make your stay with us an enjoyable and relaxing experience. The house is a traditional Spanish Townhouse and, where possible, we have kept with the original designs to make it a home with the traditions of Spain and the creature comforts of the 21st Century. There is a communal Lounge with Sky Television, plus patio and courtyard area, for whiling away the hot days. A continental breakfast is served in the mornings, but if you need something a little more substantial, Nora will rustle up a Full English Breakfast for a small fee of 5 euros. All guest rooms come complete with individual Air Conditioning and Central Heating, ensuring that you are as comfortable as possible. Air Conditioning is subject to a small daily rate. The village of La Alfoquia has a lot to offer in terms of amenities and location. Perfectly situated in the Almanzora valley, we are just a short distance from Albox, Zurgena, Almanzora, Huercal-Overa and Arboleas; if you are house hunting in those areas. Shopping in the village is easy and inexpensive. There is a local English supermarket, Traditional Spanish Butcher and Baker, Video Rental Store, plus Telephone Service for making cheaper calls abroad and Stationery Shop for anyone planning to send letters home. If you are planning to visit this area for House Hunting reasons, we are virtually next door to a Property Agent, who will help you find your new house and help with your move from start to finish. The village boasts an array of night time entertainment, with an English restaurant, Traditional Fish and Chips, a Thai Restaurant and of course, traditional Spanish Bars serving food and drinks. For children, in the summer months there is a communal pool with a Lifeguard on hand for safety. For Golfers, there are several Golf Courses nearby, all offering 18 holes and day passes. Should you wish to venture further than the village, to go househunting on your own, or go to the beach, or one of the big shopping centres recently opened; we always advise that you hire a car. Public Transport in the Almanzora Valley is notoriously irregular and only goes as far as the nearest large town where you have to change for another Bus. We are not affiliated with any Car Hire Companies but if you contact us before your visit, we can recommend a local company. We look forward to seeing you in the near future.
